My education was uneventful. They introduced CSE's i.e. Grade 1 = Low O level. I stayed on but knew I would be 24 by the time I left University. I started in HM Customs & Excise at 16 and retired from HMRC at 50. A great career as I moved from HQ to Excise in Soho and due to the lack of manpower into the new tax regime called VAT. I was drafted into the VAT Office, Soho. It meant as a VATman I would visit between 3-4 businesses a week from shops to film companies. My interest in computers lead to becoming a Computer Account Officer followed by Computer Auditor, dealing with the top London companies. During the meantime I was also assisting the Fraud squads.

Organisation - I headed 11 staff to control the largest VAT filing system in the UK

Health & Fitness - always interested in sport. trained with CAFC, jogged around Hyde Park on a Monday lunchtime, Joined a Squash club and two Tennis Clubs along with various gyms..

House & Home - always loved Property and acquired two BTL in a week when I retired

Garden Design - passed the RHS Garden Design with Distinction (75%+) & set up my own businesses PlantsR432U and Virtual Garden Design designing virtual gardens with 2D, 3D and walkthrough videos.

Lifestyle - always out and about as my Instagram/Facebook a/cs confirm. I travel the UK & Europe looking for quirky items and my Seek and Find it.co.uk site apart from unusual items also provides a Finder service. Other growing business are PoD,  Amazon Seller, KDP, Ebay and Share Trading

Computers and Social Media - as above have helped and as a web designer I have several websites,, 10 instagram & Facebook a/cs along with SnapChat, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn,and Etsy
