TV review 16th January 2021

#ThePembrokeshireMurders 1-3. The main actor should have his own series just like #Vera, #Lewis, #Tagget and call it Wilko. He has a very sauve attitude, just divorced and devoted to his son, he would be a certain favourite for the lady viewers. As per usual #KeithAllen plays the type of guy that you don't want to befriend and eventually gets life for the murders and rapes. Also very good acting by his crippled son as well *8

#TheGreatPotteryThrowDown really not my scene as pottery has never excited me unless it is well known #Poole, #Troika, #ClarisseCliffe etc. Homemade craft pottery leaves me dead but I can appreciate the skill involved so it is well worth watching. It is like #BakeOff but clay rather than cake. *7

#RickStein Cornwall is a bit of nothing programme. Rick is traveling around his Cornwall reminiscing then stopping to pick apples one episode or blackberries from the road edge another episode then cooking them and whilst eating saying how that reminds him of….. Same type of cookery programme just a different chef *5

Whilst in Cornwall we also have a repeat of the Cornish Life of a fisherman mostly set around Newlyn harbour and the talk is of the fisherman's rights with regard to the forthcoming Brexit. Obviously we now know the outcome but still a *7

Then we have Julie Bradbury walking various parts of Cornwall and in one programme you see her interview a painter who then appears on the Rick Stein show.*5

Then we have a lady comedian traveling around Cornwall in her campervan called Helen after #HelenMirren ??? Started off really well but the silliness started to wear and I switched over. Shame because I really like the Scottish imp *5

I also think there is a programme featuring walking the old railway line along the Camel trial to Wadebridge - did I dream that one? *?

But don't they know Cornwall is in lockdown as well!
