Gone (S1E3)

Episodes 1&2 were very slow but now it is getting more exciting. More suspects have made it more interesting. Two great actors David Morrissey as the Headmaster and Eve Myles as the Family Liaison Officer are great dualists blowing hot and cold.

S1/E4 It seems the murdered wife was having an affair with a guy called Sedgwick. Her daughter found her Filofax and was bullied by her father Michael (DM the headmaster) to read out the imitate details. Why didn't he read it? The daughter then burnt the evidence but there were certain parts of the pages that said the wife was scared of him. It was also seen on CCTV that Michael visited Sedgwick's house late of a night. Michael is arrested but released due to lack of evidence.

The Capture 2/6

Carey played by Holly Grainger now has a major problem. Her new boss is the assassin but how can she convince people that he was the man that killed the Home Secretary. AI technology has shown him as a totally different looking man. What I don't understand was when the Home Secretary was killed there were several people videoing the killing on their mobile phones. Would the various independent mobiles have shown the true picture? Now their phones would be good evidence, I would have thought so, but then I'm not writing the script.

The Stolen Girl-

Episode 4 staring Holly Grainger again, is getting very interesting and this complex plot is now unraveling. HG is now in France but the news reporter Selma has matched where, why, when, she did what she did. Spoiler alert the mother of Lucia the stolen girl and HG have something in common. Also there is another murder but again Who Why When - you will have to watch. Episode 5 will show the news reporter and mother travelling to France will they get The Stolen Girl or will HGo.

The Jetty 1/4

I have watched this before, a few years ago.

It starts with the boathouse being burnt down to the ground by an arsonist.

Next Miranda Ashby a young 16 year old girl is found physically fighting with a young man. Ember goes to stop it and has to go to her house and can see that she is taking laxatives. But she is pregnant. Next Ember is driving and Miranda falls/jumps from the pub roof and crashes onto the policewoman's car bonnet. Ember visits the hospital but her mother is very quiet.

This is just the first 10 minutes and later DC Ember Manning suspects a predator(s) over showing interest in under age girls. Worth watching.

Ellis

A badly dressed, grumpy, very rude to lesser ranks is Detective Ellis but that was Series 1 Episode 1 now Ellis is compassionate, kind but still a tough cookie, no nonsense lady.

Ellis has to solve the accident of Abby a student at the mighty Quinn factory that turns out to be a murder. More murders, sex trafficking, employees stealing, arson,

Ellis finds the sex trafficking house which the police raid and find two girls. Later Ellis shows her kinder side to both girls. Quinn's financial records are found and his son Joshua is involved. Joshua was supplying criminals with girls. But getting back to Abby's murder there is a double twist. You haven't seen anything but the Mighty Quinn's.

Special mention to Ellis side kick who is coming into his own. But still Ellis dark scary looks will give you nightmares but don't we all like being scared.
